New investment! Meet Cordys Analytics

Healthy.Capital has led a new funding round in Cordys Analytics, alongside existing investors LUMO Labs, ROM Utrecht Region and Utrecht Holdings Seed Fund.

Cardiology is under real pressure. People are living longer, heart disease is becoming more common, and the number of patients needing cardiac care is growing faster than there are specialists to see them.

Cordys was founded at UMC Utrecht by John van den Berg, René van Es and Rutger van de Leur. Their AI-ECG platform, GALVO, is built on years of clinical research and helps clinicians get more out of one of the most common tests in medicine.

Cordys brings together cardiology, data science, hands-on hospital experience, healthcare capacity relief and AI-driven clinical workflow improvement

With this round, Cordys will develop GALVO into a full-spectrum AI-ECG platform for diagnostic centres, clinics, hospitals and ECG device manufacturers, and grow its presence in the Netherlands, Spain and across Europe.
